Do I need to be home / at the job site at the time of the estimate?

It is helpful for you to be present at the time of your evaluation / estimate. Meeting face to face gives you the opportunity to address all of your concerns with the arborist. However, appointments can be scheduled without the property owner on site.

Work Scheduling

How soon can you do my job?

Estimates are typically completed within 1-2 days. During slower months (winter and late summer), work can sometimes be performed within a few days. Work can be delayed up to a few weeks during busy periods including the springtime.

Stump Grinding and Removal

How deep will my stumps be ground?

Tree stump removal / grinding is performed with a self-propelled machine equipped with a large cutting wheel. It is able to grind stumps 6" to 18” below ground level, depending on the location and conditions. Stump grinding and stump removal typically do not imply removal of all surface roots in the entire yard. Root removal is available upon request and may involve a separate charge. Upon request, all woodchips, mulch, and excess soil can be removed, and fresh topsoil and grass seed can be planted in place of the stump.

Is stump removal included in the cost of tree removal?

Stump removal is not typically included in the price of tree removal, unless otherwise specified. Upon request, we will gladly provide you with a free estimate for the removal of a tree stump.

Cost

How much does it cost to remove a tree?

AAA Tree & Landscaping, LLC offers very competitive rates for tree trimming and removal. However, many variables determine the cost of trimming or removing a tree. Location, size, access, as well as the level of danger associated with the job are all considerations that determine cost. A free estimate can be scheduled upon request.

Emerald Ash Borer

Can I do anything to prevent Emerald Ash Borer from destroying my trees?

Emerald Ash Borer is now a preventable problem. Fortunately, this particular bug only affects ash trees, thus it is not necessary to treat other trees. After a positive identification of an ash tree is made, the health of the tree is assessed by our arborist. The great majority of ash trees are candidates for the preventative treatments. Although actively infected trees can be candidates for treatment, trees that are actively dying with significant dieback may be too far gone for this treatment to be effective. The arborist will help guide you when selecting which ash trees to treat. Research from the University of Michigan supports the use of injections as the most effictive delivery method of the medicine. Recycling

Do we recycle our tree waste?

All tree removal products are recycled. Our woodchips are recycled for use in landscaping materials (and soon will be used to heat Ohio schools). Wood products are used for lumber, firewood, and landscaping materials.
